What We Believe
- We believe that the Holy Bible is the infallible Word of God and our guide in all matters of faith and practice and that the King James Version is the Bible for English speaking people. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:19-21)
- We believe in One God manifest in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 1 Jn. 5:7)
- We believe in the creation account of Genesis as the foundation for all life, physical and spiritual. (Gen. 1:2; Col 1:16-17; Jn. 1:3)
- We believe that Eve was deceived by Satan in the Garden and that Adam fell by his own choice and as the original head of mankind he passed on his sin nature to all mankind. (Gen. 3:1-6; Rom. 3:10-19; 5:12)
- We believe that God provided the only way of salvation from sin through the death, burial and resurrection of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ and that it is applied to each individual through their acceptance of that sacrifice by faith. (Eph. 2:8; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Pet. 2:24)
- We believe that God redeemed, reconciled, justified, sanctified and adopted into His family each person who receives Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. (Rom. 5:1; 1 Cor. 1:2; 2 Cor. 5:18; Rom. 8:15-17)
- We believe in a literal heaven for the saved and a literal hell for those who do not receive Christ as Lord and Savior. (Jn. 14:1-3; Rev. 20:15)
- We believe in the incarnation of God in flesh through the virgin birth and that Jesus lived a sinless life, becoming sin for us so He could redeem and reconcile believers to God. (Isa. 7:14; Lk. 1:27; Gal. 4:5)
- We believe in the two ordinances of baptism and communion given to the New Testament Churches. (Matt. 28:19; 1 Cor. 11:23-30)
- We believe in the literal return of Christ, first to call out His body at the pre-tribulation rapture, and then at the end of the seven years of Tribulation to establish the millennial kingdom. (1 Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 19:11-20:4)
- We believe in judgment for all by the Lord, at the Christian Judgment for believers and the Great White Throne judgment for the unsaved. (1 Cor. 3:11-15; Rev. 20:11-15)
- We believe that at the end of the millennium the present heaven and earth will be destroyed and a new eternal heaven and earth will be made. (Rev. 21:1)
